Overview of hydrological situation of March 15, 2019
Within the previous period the Berezina near Bobruysk freed from ice features.
At the present time, freeze-up and freeze-up with ice leads still remain on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Surazh and its affluent the Usvyacha near Novosyolki village as well as on the reservoirs: Vileyskoye, Chigirinskoye, Zaslavskoye, Soligorskoye and on the lakes Drivyaty, Naroch, Novolukomskoye. However, areas with open water surface increase, ice motion is registered, ice darkened, it melts on site.
Fluctuations of water levels with the intensity 1-14 cm per day are observed on the rivers.
Water is on the flood land on the Neman near Belitsa village, on the Viliya near Steshitsy village, on the Sozh near Slavgorod, on the Svisloch (affluent of the Berezina) near Terebuty village, on the Bychok (affluent of the Pripyat) near Ozerany village, on the Styr near Lopatino village and on the Ptich near 1st Slobodka village as well as on the Narev (affluent of the Zapadnyi Bug)near Nemerzha village. Flooding depth of flood zone is not very deep (up to 14 cm).
In the coming days melting of ice cover will continue. Fluctuations of water levels will be observed on the rivers, water will be on the flood land on the Sluch (affluent of the Pripyat) near Lenin village, water level is close to the mark of water discharge on the flood land on the Pronya (affluent of the Sozh) near Letyaghi village.
