Overview of hydrological situation of June 5, 2019

As at June 5, decrease of water levels with the intensity 1-7 cm per day is observed almost on all the rivers. Increase of water levels with the intensity 2-6 cm per day is observed only in certain areas and on most of the Pripyat. Water is on the flood land on the Pripyat near Chernichi village and its certain affluents.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, the Zhlobin near Rechitsa and Loyev, the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature increased a little and now it ranges from 15°С to 25°С in the rivers and water bodies.
In the coming days, decrease of water levels will be observed on the rivers with the result that water level on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk will be below the mark that limits shipping and water level on the Sluch (affluent of the Pripyat) near Lenin village will be below the mark of water discharge on the flood land. Water temperature will increase in the rivers and water bodies.
