Overview of hydrological situation of July 5, 2019
As at July 5, decrease of water levels with the intensity 1-11 cm per day is observed on the rivers. Small increase (1-2 cm per day) of water levels is observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina on site Surazh-Vitebsl, on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper on site Orsha-Mogilev. Water level on the Viliya near Mikhalishki village reached multiyear minimum water level for July.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loyev, on the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature ranges from 13°С to 24°С in the rivers and water bodies.
In the coming 5 days, small fluctuations of water levels will be observed on the rivers, water temperature won’t change significantly in the rivers and water bodies.
