Overview of hydrological situation of February 27, 2019
Within the previous day the Dnieper near Zhlobin broke up from ice, the Neman on the site Belitsa-Mosty, the Uzlyanka (affluent of the Viliya) near Uzla village, the Narev (affluent of the Zapadnyi Bug) near Nemerzha village and the Oster (affluent of the Sozh) near Khodun village freed from ice features.
Freeze-up and freeze-up with ice leads are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Surazh, Ulla village, Verkhnedvinsk and on its affluents, on the Dnieper near Orsha and on the site Rechitsa-Loev, on the Berezina on the site Berezino-Svetlogorsk, on the Sozh near Krichev. Freeze-up is observed on most of the lakes and water bodies, however, there are crevasses in the ice cover, flange ice is observed. It is dangerous to go out on ice.
Fluctuations of water levels with the intensity 1-20 cm per day will remain on the rivers, Ice blocks caused by river break-ups are observed on certain areas of the rivers.
Water is on the flood land on the Bychok (affluent of the Pripyat) near Ozerany village, on the Styr near Lopatino village, on the Sluch near Lenin village and on the Narev (affluent of the Zapadnyi Bug) near Nemerzha village.
In the coming days there won’t be any significant changes in the level and ice regimes of rivers.
