Overview of hydrological situation of February 26, 2019
Within the previous period the Styr near Lopatino village broke up from ice, most affluents of the Neman, the Viliya, the Berezina, the Sozh and of the Pripyat freed from ice features.
Freeze-up and freeze-up with ice leads are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Surazh, Ulla village and Verkhnedvinsk and on its affluents, on the Dnieper near Orsha and on the site Zhlobin-Loyev, on the Berezina on the site Berezino-Svetlogorsk, on the Sozh near Krichev. There are crevasses in the ice cover, water appeared on ice, it is dangerous to go out on ice.
Fluctuations of water levels with the intensity 1-18 cm per day remain on the rivers. Water is on the flood land on the Styr (affluent of the Pripyat) near Lopatino village, on the Sluch (affluent of the Pripyat) near Lenin village and on the Narev (affluent of the Zapadnyi Bug) near Nemerzha village.
In the coming days fluctuations of water levels will continue as well as ice cover melting and ice features destruction.
