Overview of hydrological situation of August 9, 2019
As at August 8, increase of water levels with the intensity 1-12 cm per dar is observed on the Berezina, most of the Zapadnaya DVine, the Neman near Stolbtsy, the Dnieper near Loyev, the Sozh near Gomel, the Pripyat near Mozyr as well as on the certain theirs affluents and affluents of the Zapadnyi Bug. Increase of water levels was caused by precipitations. Decreased of water levels and its even running are observed on the rest of the Neman, the Dnieper, the Sozh, the Pripyat, the Zapadnaya Dvina near Polotsk and on the Viliya as well.
Water levels is below the mark that limits shipping on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk. Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Neman near Grodno, the Dniper neat Mogilev, Rechitsa and Loyev, the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Gomel, Krichev and Slavgorod.
Water temperature ranges from 13°С to 22°С in the rivers and water bodies.
In the coming days fluctuations of water levels with the tendency to increase will be observed on the rivers.
