Overview of hydrological situation of August 15, 2019
Within the previous period (August 10-14), fluctuations of water levels with the tendency to increase were observed on the rivers causing improvement of conditions for river transport on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk.
As at August 15, increase of water levels with the intensity 1-21 cm per day caused by precipitations is observed on the rivers.
Unfavourable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dniper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loyev, the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature ranges from 13°С to 23°С in the rivers and water bodies.
In the coming days, increase of water levels will remain on most of the rivers with the result that water level will reach the mark of water discharge on the flood land on the Bobr (affluent of the Berezina) near Kuty village.
