Overview of hydrological situation of April 20, 2020
Over the period (16-19 April) decrease of water levels was observed. That caused lowering of water level below the limit marking shipping on the Sozh near Gomel.
As at April 20 decrease of water levels with daily intensity of 1-5 cm is observed on the rivers of the country. Increase of water levels with daily intensity of 1-8 cm is observed on the greatest extent of the Zapadnaya Dvina, the Neman near Mosty, the Sozh near Krichev and on the small rivers. Water levels are below the limit marking shipping on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev and Zhlobin, on the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel. Water level is close to dangerous low point on the Berezina near Bobruisk.
Water temperatures ranges from 3,9°С to 9,8°С.
In the coming days no significant changes are expected in the level and thermal regimes of rivers.
