Agrometeorological conditions in the republic are not developing in the best way Due to the lowered temperature regime this week. Freezing of the topsoil is still noted. Low night temperatures posed a danger to winter rape, as well as to winter crops that are in the "exit to the tube" phase. It will become possible to evaluate the effect of low temperatures on crops after vegetation of plants will become active again.
In the coming days the temperature will increase slightly, which will increase the pace of field work and sowing of early spring crops. However at the beginning of next week cooling is expected again, which will be accompanied by short-term precipitation. Soil warming and drying will be restrained. The likelihood of winter rapeseed damage at low temperatures will remain.
