Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 2, 2020

Passed rains maintain sufficient soil moisture reserves in most of the territory of the republic. Productive moisture reserves in the half-meter soil layer are good on the major territory of the republic according to the results of instrumental determination of soil moisture. Waterlogging persists in a number of areas where the most intense rains occurred in June.
Low moisture reserves maintained at the time of moisture determination due to uneven distribution of precipitation throughout the republic in the east of Gomel, in the southern regions of Minsk, in some places in the south-west of Mogilev and Vitebsk regions.  Past rains replenished the content of soil moisture in the southeast of the country. Moisture reserves in soil will increase due to the expected rains in the near future.
